What Does A Hard Lump On The Head Above The Right Eye Along With Optical Migraines And Vision Issues Indicate?

Two days ago I noticed some pressure on the side of my head and there is a hard lump on my head about the size of a quarter at a 45 degree angle from my right eye. Just a few months ago I had optical migraine and my vision dropped from 20/20 to 20/50. My eyes have remained at 20/50. What could it be? Is it related?

Hello,

These symptoms need to be evaluated. Space occupying lesion should be ruled out. Lump on the head with opticàl migraine and drop in vision is an indication to consult your GP for neurological examination. If needed your GP will order for imaging studies. Do not ignore these symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jasmine Jagan
