I recently went to my family doctor who diagnosed a UTI and put me on a three day course of Cipro. I thought I had a small bladder stone instead of a UTI because it didn t hurt to void my bladder in the morning like a traditional UTI. It felt worse later in the day after I had been sitting at my desk for a few hours. Anyway, I did eventually pass a strange looking stringy red and white thing in my urine stream. It was about an inch long. I finished the Cipro and felt better for about a day. Now I see ocassional white flakes in my urine stream and I am starting to feel pressure again and like I can t finish voiding when I go to the bathroom. SIGH. Do you know what the red stringy thing was? or the white flakes?
