What Do Welts On The Corner Of The Eyes Indicate?

I m getting welts on the outer corner of my eyes, next to my nose, and the sides of my chin. It s been consistent for about 5 months. I ve tried everything from hydrocortisone to prescription steroid creams to antihistamines to everything under the sun. Nothing seems to work. Do you have any experience in this condition?

Welcome to HCM.

1.Considering they are painless,your symptoms are suggestive of Milia/dead skin clogging the pores due to altered exfoliative process of your skin.They are very common,usually multiple ,white hard beads,without any pain for many months together.Many people ignore them as if left they resolve on its own.It could be due to increased sun exposure/use of heavy skin care products as well.
I would suggest you to avoid such products,use a good sunscreen on a regular basis,do not poke/prick them. Steaming,deep cleaning and Exfoliating cleanser should give some relief.Honestly,I am not sure about the effect of Hydrocortisone cream on these bumps but OTC Retinol cream.If nothing works,your dermatologist can help you get rid of them at the office.

2.If they are associated with itchiness, pain, swelling and increase in size with time, you should be visiting your dermatologist for examination and appropriate medication.
