What Do Two Indentations On Either Side Of Lower Hips Indicate?

On either side of my lower hips, on the front side of my body, I have two small, oval shaped indents. My bikini or swimsuit will cover them most of the time so they’re nevermind really noticeable. They are right on the line where my thighs start. I’ve only met a few other people with these; any clue on what they are?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Usually, chronic compression over the particular parts of the body leads to cell apoptosis at the microscopic level and produce indentation of similar type on both sides.

However, an MRI of the soft tissue can reveal much more details needed to understand the internal structures in depth and rule out any other minor problem of some sort.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
