What Do Tenderness And Pain In The Lower Back Indicate?

My husband is 70, he is on blood thinners for a previous PE, he has rheumatoid arthritis and alzheimers. he has been complaining of tenderness, redness and swelling in the front part of his ankle; tonight he complains of tenderness in his lower back quadrant, it is not his back more toward the side. When I touch it he says it is very painful

Joints pain or muscular areas of it becomes painful in case of rheumatoid arthritis and pain varied from mild to moderate but seldom become severe, certain functional factors really aggravates the pain, NSAID (Non steroid anti-inflammatory drugs) is the best option it reduces the pain in certain cases steroid can be used for short course, eliminating the stress or anxiety may helps a lot.
