What Could Shivering Chills With Painful Urination Suggest?

I have had 2 bouts of severe shivering chills in last 24 hours. No nausea, no headache, just shivering top to bottom with teeth chattering, wgen put 2 jumpers on and get under doona with 4 blankets I slowly start to feel less cold. I have experienced slight burning pain during urination over past two days but less now. I was very tires and slept on and off for 4 hours yesterday afternoon and a 9 hour sleep overnight with no chills. I don t feel unwell enough o see my Doctor as I have not had a shiver attack since yesterday. Any idea of what this could be? thanks Tom

Dear-thanks for using our service. Your symptoms are compatible with an urinary tract infection. Shivering chills, burning pain during urination and fatigue are part of the UTI. It is advisable to have an urine sample for culture and sensitivity, drink at least 32 onz of water and cranberry juice. If you have the urine sample, you can start prophilactic treatment with antibiotics until the culture comes back.
I hope that my advise has been helpful.
