What Could Lumps On Leg Calves Indicate?

I have large lumps on both calves of my legs. They are soft (marshmallow like) when pushed. They are a located in the center of the calf, a little to the outside of center. They are about 2.5 inches in diameter, protrude out about 3/8 to 1/2 inch causing the lump. They are not painful and I only noticed them when I was rubbing my leg, thought I was gaining muscle mass but when I pushed on them, it was clear it was not muscle. Any ideas what it is?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

After a clinical examination to rule out vericose veins, I would advise you for a FNAC (Fine needle aspiration cytology) of the lesion to know the origin and character of the lump. Further management would depend on the investigation reports.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
