What Could Constant Discharge In Elderly Woman Suggest?

Hi, ive been having some discharge recently and needing to wear a panty liner everyday. I have been to the doctors and had swobs and a smear test and also my urine tested. All have come back fine. The doctor hs now referred me to the hospital for an appointment in two weeks. This has put a worry in my mind that its something serious. I am a 60 year old woman. please help!

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. If all the reports are normal, not to worry.
2. Urine test rules out a urinary tract infection. Smear and swab test rule out any genital infection.
3. It could be possibly urinary incontinence. No other possibilities present. Pelvic exercises and bladder training will be helpful.
4. More clinical details of other chronic diseases and lab reports necessary for further opinion.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
