What Could Cause Decrease In The Levels Of Bilirubin And SGPT And Weakness In The Legs?
Sir I m a junior resident Jr 1 Last mon I ve total bilirubin 2.3 direct 1.3 Sgpt 133 Sgot 40 No vomit no diarrhoea no appetite loss Only marked weakness in legs... After 5 days it decreases to 1.3 but today it becomes 2.2. Again but Sgpt becomes 83 Only symptoms marked weakness in legs... Sir please tell what to do

Hi,
You have to rule out viral hepatitis first although no sign of hepatitis present.
You can investigate by viral marker investigations for further work up.
If the test shows negative for hepatitis then USG abdomen scan can be done for the next step of the investigation.
You can revert back with reports.
