What Could Cause Bleeding In Eyes With History Of Having Cataract Done?
I woke up this morning and found my right eye was bleeding. Apparantly it had bled during the night also. I had been using some eye drops (generic) last night for itchy & dry eyes. I have no pain and when I got up the bleeding stopped. I have had cataract surgery on both eyes 3-4 years ago & have had no problems. Just had an eye exam about 2 weeks ago & no problems there either. Should I see my eye dr. or not?

you need an immediate eye check up. It may not be related to cataract surgery. But better go for check. it may be some conjuctival blood vessel burst related to itching and dry eye . might have rubbed vigorously making break in blood vessel now that it has stopped ,nothing to worry. keep watch on your eye and get it examined by eye doctor for dry eye and allergy.
