What Causes Weight Loss Without Exercise And Diet?

About a year ago I was 72-73kg so I started to walk for exercise. I got my weight down to about 67-68kg which I attributed to the walking and eating a little better. Recently I ve moved to a new house so I ve been busy and stopped walking frequently. I ve also been eating more as I rarely are breakfast before but now I eat it everyday. However, even with the lack of exercise and increase in eating, my weight has been steadily decreasing for more than a week. It has now fallen to 64.9kg and I m beginning to worry. What s going on? I ve recently had to move my belts one notch down as my pants are starting to feel loose. I m starting to think the initial weight loss was also more of this problem and not due to exercising. Should I be as worried as I am? For reference I m 34 years old and 181cm. I don t smoke or drink. Also I feel full after eating just a small meal and I don t get very hungry at all through the day as long as I eat one thing.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is understandable to be concerned.

If you are only using one meal a day and find yourself busy throughout the day (even if not formal exercise), this can contribute to weight loss.

Once a person is physically active either with formal exercise or general activity , it is possible to lose weight.

If you are still concerned , you can consider visiting your doctor for an assessment which would include physical examination and blood tests.

I hope this helps
