What Causes Watery Eyes And A Runny Nose?

My dad has very watery eyes and is constantly wiping them. I don't know if this has got anything to do with ths problem but he does sometimes get a runny nose. My question to you is "What is this problem and how is it caused?" "If so, can this be treated?"

watery eye and running nose may be allergic. just by taking levcetrizine 5mg and applying nasibion nasal drop can give relief to both then no more treatment is re queried.if watery eye persists then it may be partial block in nasolacrimalduckt. in that case punctum dilatation and syringing may be done.
