What Causes Vision Of Bright Spots In Both The Eyes?

I am seeing bright spots in both of my eyes. It started this afternoon and comes and goes. If I close both eyes , I can still see the sparkling bright light which form an oval pattern. I’ve never had this happen before. I’m 74 years old, very active and no major health issues.

it can be floaters. exclude hypertention and diabetes. consult eye doctor for fundus examination for diagnosis so that treatment can be recomanded.
