General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my surgical experience, the inability to pass urine after delivery is concerned with pelvic nerves effect over bladder contractility. I would suggest to undertake an ultrasound, uroflowmetry for the precise cause evaluation and further management guidelines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
