What Causes Tremors In The Hands While On Seroquel?

My husband is 83 taking Seroquel. He is on the Hospice program. Do I have the right to ask that he be taken off this medicine? I and my son have been reading about this medicine and some of the symptoms he is having I believe are being caused by this medicine. His legs are really ridged and hard to bend. His arms tremble. I was going to talk to his nurse tomorrow. Do you need more information? Thanks.

Dear Mam,
Tremor while taking seroquel is due to an extrapyramidal manifestation of this disease. ALso the rigidity you are talking about is another manifestation of this type of side effects.
The treatment would be giving anticholinergic like benztropine to decrease these symtoms.
Best regards
