What Causes Tingling Sensation On Testicle After The Intercourse?

Hello Doctor: I came across the postings in medhelp.org and my situation is the same as many people have experienced...Its like I happen to have sex with a stripper and 3 weeks after that, I started having tingling in my testicles....then exactly 1 month after exposure I went on to test for STD s...I was suspecting Genital Herpes...but results came negative for all STD s.... The thing is I had sex for only 15-20 secs that s it and also I had condoms,,,,again I don t have any visible blisters or sores anything like that,,,,i have itching and tingling in my balls and some itching once in a while in my penis, then initially when the symptoms started I had swollen lymph nodes,,,thats it,,,no fever at all.... now I will be completing 3 months(time after exposure) in another 10 days,,and planning to go for retesting,,,, This tingling in my balls(its like a movement or rotation that happens in the testicles), the same thing what many complain off... What do you think I have got? What is happening to me? I am afraid it might be HIV or Genital Herpes....Please give me your inputs and suggestions...I am badly in need of help...I look forward to hear from you...

Infectious Diseases Specialist 's  Response
Hello dear,

Thank you for your contact to health care magic.

I read and understand your concern.

I am Dr Arun Tank answering your concern.

Most of the people have same complaint as you are having but actually they are not having any STDs as such.

Same thing is with you, as you are not having any STDs.

Even your retest is going to be negative for sure.

The itching and tingling in balls is because of your psychology as you are thinking that you are having STDs that's why you are feeling tingling.

You need good counselling in context of STDs. Once you are councelled there is no need to retest again.

Delete the though you have the STDs .

In future please be aware of such incident , protected intercourse can help you come out of it.

I will be happy to answer your further concern on bit.ly/DrArun.

Thank you,
Dr Arun Tank
