What Causes Tingling Sensation In Stomach Before Getting Flu?

Hi, I'm a 23 year old female. Every single time the day before I get the flu (fever) I have this annoying feeling in my stomach. It feels like I have butterflies in my stomach, that feeling you get when you're nervous about something. It's just this tingling sensation. And everytime I have this feeling I know that I'm gonna have the fever the next time and everytime I do. How come? How's that possible and how does that work?
I am really wondering as I've had it a couple of times already over the last few years. Thanks for your answer.

Hi thanks for asking question in HCM.
The flu infection can lead to headache, generalised bodyache , sore throat and vomitting ,diarrhea sometimes.
Here you might have simple muscular pain over stomach area because of flu.
Otherwise pain may be because of gastritis secondary to viral infection.
For pain relief take simple analgesic.If pain continues and gastritis suspected then omeprazole is taken for few days.
I dont think here much for worry about that.Just try to get recover from flu with more water,green vegetables,fruits etc.
Avoid spicy food.
As soon as flu over, pain will mostly subside.
