What Causes Throbbing Pain By Changing My Head Position?

Hi, every time I go from a laying down position to a standing position the right part of my head throbs right by the temple section. Happens every time, been going on for about a day. I even tried to sleep it off, still happening though. Could it be serious... Ideas?

Hi,
Throbbing head ache on changing position from supine to standing indicates orthostatic hypotension . Check your supine Bp, Sitting Bp, Standing Bp, Between these Supine and standing systolic pressure varies more than 10 mm Hg means chances of Orthostatic hypotension is there. that is Low Bp in simple terms. Drink more water/ Improve your physical activity. Train to get up slowly like - supine - 2 minutes- sitting -- 2 minutes- standing-- 2 minutes- moving... If it is not helping meet MD physician. Take care
