What Causes Swollen Vein On Right Hand?

the vein on right hand from ring finger to nearly wrist is slightly swollen and pain shoots thru periodically, and sometimes says for a few seconds. i dont recall hitting my hand against anything or anything stressful to muscles . i do take meds for bp asthma and cholosterol but same for several years now. what can i do to alleviate this?

Respected Sir, hi I evaluated your query thoroughly.
Sir this relates to subclinical underlying inflammatory reaction of body tissue responding to unknown trauma and giving rise to symptoms.
* Do alternate leukwarm water immersing of hand for 5-10 min and ice
application for 5 min. about 4-5 times a day.
* Can take analgesic tab. mor and eve after meals if more pain.
* Avoid excess computer work / strenous work involving that wrist.
* Later if at all required can consult your family doctor otherwise not.
You have to continue all your current medications.
