What Causes Swelling Frequently?

I woke up this morning and my right eye and visibly swollen and my lips is swollen, not to mention the back of my neck is swollen too. this occurs often but never my eye or neck. usually my feet or lip or other places. they say its an allergic reaction. i went to the er the other morning cause my lip tongue and throat was swollen. they prescribed me zertax and a type of steroids. and it was working and then this morning i woke up to this, but im still taking the medication prescribed. just took my last half a steroid. what the heck?

Yes this shows allergic response. As you are already taking medication and still symptoms are persisting, it is suggesting that the triggering factor is still there. You need to find out what actually is causing the allergy. Some of the most common causes of allergy are :
> insect bite
> bedding & clothing
> specific food. e.g egg, etc
> tree pollen
> dust, etc

You need to carefully look into your surrounding that what is the cause. Your symptoms will subside permanently if you find the cause and prevent it.
