Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Sounds like macular edema which can occur after a complicated cataract surgery and more so in case of diabetics . you will need injections to control the swelling ie the edema in the macular area which is the sight controlling area of the macula. We need to save it dear and injections are the only way out . if you don't want repeated injections go for a implant it will work for six months and you won't need repeated injections till that time.

Hope I have answered your query.
