What Causes Swelling Above The Eyes After A Cataract Surgery?

It s four months since my 1st cataract surgery. I opted for the trifocal lens which was great until I had laser treatment a few weeks later. Have some blurring as I move my head and it seems like a film floating across my eye. My biggest worry is that the skin above my eye is swollen and droopy and under my eye is very puffy. Can you explain this? I am due to have the other eye done in a few week s time, but i feel dubious.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your eye may be sensitive to laser, which may be verified. So after confirmation you must go for other eye treatment. So you must consult your operating eye surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
