I ve been noticing that my urine smells really sweet and sugary when I eat sugary foods. I tend to not eat too many sweets, so when I do the urine smell is very noticeable. Also I should say that for the past 10 years I ve been drinking a lot of water, which makes me urinate roughly every hour. If I was diabetic shouldn t I have already had sometime bad happen?
Hello, Welcome to HCM. I can understand your problem. Your symptoms of excessive thirst & urination may be due to diabetes. Diabetes is mostly a silent diseases and detected very late in many patients. I advise you not to wait for something bad to happen and get your blood and urine checked for diabetes. If detected, it should be treated as early as possible to prevent organ damage in future. Hope this will be helpful. Do ask if any further questions are there. Take care.
