Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
On 1st December whilst walking the dog, I just collapsed for no apparent reason. My legs didn't buckle - I just fell on my face. Can you offer any suggestion why? Having cracked my cheekbone, and suffered from double vision through muscle damage (which has now cleared up), extensive facial bruising, I am now OK apart from sometimes feeling "fuzzy" and loss of confidence. I am 78
There can be many causes for this. In my opinion, the most dangerous cause would have to do with a heart rhythm disturbance. I suggest that you see a cardiologist and mak sure that your heart did not cause this event. In the meantime get plenty of rest and drink adequate water
