What Causes Sudden Black Out Of Vision In Left Eye?

I just had an episode with my left eye in which I could barely see out of it. I do get migraines, but this was not typical of my usual migraine. I could see a center and lots of white lines radiating out and around. It scared me so I checked a mirror to see if the eye looked normal. My right eye was not affected and could see it looked fine. I took 2 baby aspirin and my sight came back to normal within a few minutes. Any ideas on what just happened? Thanks Debbie

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you had an episode of transient ischemic attack which has caused sudden blurred vision. This can also occur in migraine.
However since you had different types of symptoms with migraine I advice you to consult your doctor for evaluation to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Thank you
With regards
