What Causes Sharp Pain In Finger Without Any Injuries?

out of no where my finger felt shattered the pain has been unbearable for two days. i haven't injured it so where could this be coming from? when i try to straighten my fingers all on my hand go out but that one and it makes the pain so much worse.
