What Causes Severe Pain Below The Waist After A Bursectomy?

I ve had a L4 - L5 fusion done 2 years ago (1 Spinal Stenosis surgery before that) and have had several injections done since then. I have been diagnosed with Peripheral Artery Disease just last year, and had bilateral Bursectomie s done twice. Since then, I am in excrusuiating pain from my waist down. I don t know which is which anymore. Is it my back, hip, or legs? I hurt so bad life is not worth living this way.

Hi,

Peripheral artery disease may can cause limb claudication pain and hair loss and dark pigmentation in the limbs.

Lumbar spondylosis with radiculopathy may also cause this problem.

You can use local nerve blocks or steroid injection or arterial stenting etc.

Use tablet Pregabalin with tablet Percocet.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
