What Causes Severe Headache?

fell a week ago and broke my elbow, was operated on with pins & wire band. Two days after I was released I was re-admitted due to infection and treated with iv flucloxacillin for three days. released with 6 days worth 500mg oral flucloxcillin but have a headache altho I was also taking 400mg mandafen for pain with elbow but doesnt seem to have an effect on the headache. It feels more like a migraine as it is just up rhs of head at the back and feels like dead weight in my head when I bend over or shake my head. should I be worried?

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having elbow injury and headache. The elbow injury is not directly related to headache. Headache can be because of migraine as you are suspecting and requires treatment by the use of anti-migraine drugs and analgesics.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
