Hello dear, Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have asked you the following details about your headache in order to answer your query better- 1)Is headache unilateral or bilateral? 2)Is it associated with nausea,double vision or any other vision abnormalities? 3)Is it associated with neck pain? As you have not mentioned any details,I am assuming that it is just the isolated headache with no additional features. Please take some non steroidal anti inflammatory drug under guidance of a physician.If even then,the headache persists for few hours,you should immediately get yourself thoroughly examined, and assessed whether you need a brain imaging study like Computerised tomographic(CT) scan?
