What Causes Severe Headache?

Today I had my birthday party with a bunch of friends. We went to a park and swam in the creek and had cake, all that stuff. When we got home I felt fine until about two hours ago when I started getting a headache. Now it s really bad and I feel warm and a little sick. What should I do to make this go away as soon as possible? I did not drink much but I m trying to now. I ve had a Tylenol too.

Hello dear,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have asked you the following details about your headache in order to answer your query better-
1)Is headache unilateral or bilateral?
2)Is it associated with nausea, double vision or any other vision abnormalities?
3)Is it associated with neck pain?
As you have not mentioned any details,I am assuming that it is just the isolated headache with no additional features. Please take some non steroidal anti inflammatory drug under guidance of a physician. If even then, the headache persists for few hours, you should immediately get yourself thoroughly examined, and assessed whether you need a brain imaging study like Computerised tomographic(CT) scan? I hope it helps.
