I m using this drug for a dry eye problem. Started about 2 weeks ago. I ve been getting horrible headaches and my eyes seem to hurt more. Should I contact my doctor. He has given me several refills but I just can t stand the headaches. It feels like someone sitting on my head or I m standing on my head.
The cause of dry eye is to be diagnosed exclude deficiency of tear secretion. A strip test should be done to exclude autoimmune disorder. If these are the reason, then punctum may be sealed so that tear is accumulated in conjunctival sac and dry eye is compensated.
You can contact eye doctor for examination and diagnosis so that treatment can be recommended. First refraction should be done and severe astigmatism should be corrected after proper correction, and then you may feel normal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Refraction should be done if an error detected, then it should be corrected with refractive error correction and use specs, the headache will decrease.
If still headaches persisting, then can take analgesic drug like tablet combiflam, CSF pressure should also be checked.
