Hi, Thanks for your post on HCM I do understand your pain and discomfort As per your history is concerned she has severe tremor after a hip fracture. I want to clarify that fracture has no relation with her tremor as she had it before fall as mentioned by you. Tremor has many pathological causes so let us ruled out these two most common conditions first like Parkinson disease and graves disease for which do only [TSH] only because Parkinson disease is diagnosed in clinical only. Second possibility will be complex regional pain syndrome [CRPS] which happens after any injury so ask patient whether she has pain in arm, hand or leg or not? Thirdly check her drug history.
