What Causes Sensitivity And Blackness Around My Eyes After I Hit My Head?
Hello, 2 days ago I slipped while coming down stairs and hit the back of my head pretty hard, I got up and was fine, no vomiting. Over the days i have not had headaches or anything, but i have gotten raccoon eyes, or two black eyes. I feel fine besides the spot where i hit my head is a bit sore, My eyes are not sensitive to light, and i fall asleep fine. but i am still afraid of the black eyes, should I consult a doctor? I am 17 years of age.

Black eyes are because of blood oozed around eye socket due to trauma one received.
It will gradually resolve in more than a fortnight .
In its course it will show color changes- not to be worried.
No hot compress around eyes desired after trauma.
Injury on the back should be watched.rest and sos analgesic may be of some help.
