As aging occurs there will be hypomotility of bowel which might lead to decreased digestion and also gastritis and acid peptic reflux. You can take her to your family physician who may prescribe antacids like Pantop/Omez/Rantac or gelusil syrup. Also give her diet which is not very spicy and oily which may aggravate gastritis. Give small meals at frequent intervals. Let her not be confined to the bed. Encourage moving around. Engage her actively in family gatherings and discussions. As far as she is eating well and passing her stools properly I don t think there should be a reason to worry. If she is not better with anti-gastritis treatment take her to your doctor who may suggest an abdominal ultrasonography scan to see if there is any pathology. Hope I have answered your query.
