What Causes Red Spots In The Corner Of The Eye?

For about the past week I have had a red spot in the corner of my eye with almost like a cloudy film over it. It is only in the back corner though. For the first part of the week it did not really hurt now it has progressively gotten worse. What could be causing this and should I be alarmed? There is no itching and really no spreading but today it almost seems like my eye is swelling up.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having a red spot in the corner of the eye.
This looks like subconjunctival hemorrhage as a result of bleeding under the conjunctiva.
Since you are not having any symptoms like itching, pain... no need to worry.
This generally does not requires treatment and will decrease over 1-2 weeks.

Thank you
