I have Deep Vain Thrombosis in mt left leg, and I am being treated with cummidon and my levels are now thereaputic. My question is my leg is purpleish with white blotches. What does that mean? I also, am just begining to use my left leg again, I have been non weight bearing, and now only use one crutch.
Was your leg purplish with white blotches when you started the treatment? Is there any pain in the leg? or has the pain increased from before? If yes then you should get it checked by Vascular Surgeon to be sure. Has the swelling regressed or remains the same? With successful treatment the swelling should come down. If not then you should get a repeat Color Doppler done. Take care
