What Causes Prominent Vein From Calf To Back Of The Knee?

hi there whilst out wearing shorts with my friends im 28 years of age an i walked past a mirror i noticed what looks like a worm under my skin right by my calf im not sure if it is but it goes right upto under the back of my knee could this be a worm of some sort

Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
My opinion-
IN the given situation, You seems to be having-Varicose Veins of the Short Saphenous Veins of legs.
Dear it is not some sort of worm as you think.
These are engorged veins from the superficial Calf leg veins, which have occured from the failed communicating veins to deep calf veins-in the normal vein system in the legs.
USG and doppler study of legs would fix the cause of it and would need treatment from Vascular Surgeon.
It could be from deep vein thrombosis(DVT) and hence needs immediate treatment with Vascular Surgeon.
Other causes of worm like look in calf of legs needs to be verified and ruled out, before giving any treatment.

Hope this would help you to plan further of this complex illness of yours.
