What Causes Painful Hole In Mouth After Removing Infected Tooth?

Hi there about a year ago I had to have an infected tooth removed so have a hole in my mouth now where it used to be. This hole has been fine up til now where it seems to be becoming painful. When I feel it with my tongue it feels like lots of skin has come off and it's like there's some holes there. It feels quite swollen right now but I've also noticed I do keep catching food on it so could it be due to this? or am I catching food on it because it is swollen?

consult a oral surgeon immediatly.n get it treated.irs quet abnormal. 1 Yr of post extaction period u hving this problem means u should go for a treatmen asp
