What Causes Pain On The Back Of The Head With Dizziness?

I having pain on the back of my head and neck. I see dark spots. Get really dizzy and feel like my head is in a fog. I can feel and hear my heartbeat in my head. The thing is is all of this comes in waves. One minute I am fine and the next I am not. Symptoms last for at least 5 minutes.

The dizziness, spots, foggy mind is the aura associated with migraine. There are certain precipitation factors for migraine like sleeplessness, bright lights, fatigue etc. Kindly identify any precipitating factor if you can and start to try to avoid it. Resting in a dark comfortable room generally relieves the symptoms. In severe cases you need to take prescription drugs and for that you need to consult a neurologist. Thanks.
