What Causes Pain In The Stomach?

I have been having pain on my belly button and right above. it really hurts when I touch the area. I also have pain on the left side of my stomach and it hurts to sit up and crunch over. I also feel like I have to push my stomach out???

Thanks for your query.
The causes of pain in the belly button and the area above can be infection in the area called Umbilical granuloma or can be an obstructed hernia.
Pull on the intestine or the omentum can cause pain in the other side of the abdomen or due to associated colitis..

I would advise you the following:"
get a physical examination done by a Surgeon as this can be a serious problem like obstructed hernia which needs urgent surgery.
