What Causes Pain In The Eyes?

What could be the cause of a temporary pain in the eye, feeling exactly like some foreign body was causing the pain, but there was an absence of any foreign body. In the old days we used to say we had a cold in the eye. The condition lasts about 1 hour and goes completely away.

Hi

It can be a foreign body. Get it examined by an eye doctor and confirm the diagnosis. If a foreign body is detected, it should be removed. If no foreign body is detected it is well and good. One can apply Neosporine eye ointment at bed time.

Take Care
