Hello,

It looks like you are having throbbing headache. The main cause is Migraine. It can be tension or cluster headache though. For relief, you can take Ibuprofen or Naproxen. Drinking too much alcohol (and hangover) can also cause throbbing headache. Caffeine withdrawal can trigger headache. You are suggested to stay well hydrated, take adequate sleep and take pain medicines for relieve.

Take vitamin B6 and B12. Take home made nutritious food. Cold therapy is effective. Apply cold packs or caps on your forehead for relieve. Stay in a quiet, dark room and avoid exposure to sunlight. However, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get assessed and get all investigations done to rule out any major pathology (tumor, etc) causing you discomfort.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
