Saturday I had been bitten by a horsefly on the outside of my knee. My leg swelled up about twice the size of my leg to mid calf to mid thigh. It was also red and hot. I taken antihesitamine and applied cortizone cream on my bite to help with the itching. For the swelling I elevated my leg and placed ice on it for two days. The swelling has gone down but not completely. Now I am experiencing pain from my buttuck to the top of my foot. Could this also be from the horsefly bite and should I go see my dr? I am 46, Female 5'7" about 160 lbs. Good health except for allergies and ashma.
