What Causes Pain At Wisdom Tooth Extraction Site?

Yes I got my wisdom teeth removed about a month ago and they are still healing and I have this thin wire thing sticking out of the healing wounds of my wisdom teeth holes and it hurts every time I touch it with my tongue . Do you think it's a nerve or something?

Hello and thank you for your question. It could be a nerve. Nerves to the teeth are extremely sensitive to touch and sometimes to cold. You need to see your dentist as soon as possible so that they can correct this problem for you. Good luck and thanks for using HCM.
