What Causes Pain And Dryness In The Eye?

Yesterday I had a terrible eye ache and my eyes are dry. I've been using an eye cream that I feel caused an irritation. Just before I went to bed I urinated and it was very pale almost clear and I woke up and it also was calmest like water. Should I be concerned. I usually drink plenty of fluids. Primarily just water. Thanks
