General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

inflammatory reaction usually occurs in 2-3 days time. in about a week, swelling will subside. if there's persistence of symptoms, it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably an orthopedic surgeon, for clinical evaluation. diagnostics (such as x-ray, mri) may be recommended. management (medical and/or surgical) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
