What Causes Kaleidoscopic Vision?

79 year old man, overweight, vision starts to look a kaleidoscope in noncolor, then eyes are wide open, mouth has strange smile, he becomes nonresponsive. can shake him or throw water in the face and he will come back after a while. says right before he sees the kaleidoscope and becomes very tired. takes amlodipine, metformin, and lisinopril hctz. seems to occur after eating sausage of some sort. could a spice be interferring with the medicine?

This sounds like a seizure. I would advice you to get a neurologist opinion. Mostly, he would advice to get a brain scan done.
