What Causes Itching In The Eyes?

over the past week, my eyes have been itching constantly, they swell up and get all red on my eyelids. This has NEVER happened to me before. Now i havent been sleeping where i usually sleep latley. But where i am sleeping now my short haired dog has slept before. Is the itching because of irritation or something else?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having itching of the eyes. This is because of allergy to the hairs of dog.
This requires treatment by the use of anti-allergic eye drops like olopatadine and along with the medical treatment you need to avoid exposure to allergen in your case to the hairs of the dog.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
