What Causes Itchiness And Irritation In The Eye?
Hello. One of my eyes is irritated and itchy. I just put some drops in and checked to see if I had something in my eye. There isn t anything that I can see, but the membrane in the corner of my eye is noticeably swollen. I wanted to see if there is any home treatment I should be doing before I can get to the eye doctor in the morning.

since it is only in one eye, it may be forge in body. get examined by eye doctor if fb is detected then it can be removed. apply neosporine eye ointment and apply refresh eye tear drop, take tab levocetrizine 5 mg in morning daily for 5days.it can be angular conjunctivitis or pterigium. so first get examined by eye doctor then take treatment according to his advise no home treatment except washing eyes in clean and fresh water.
