What Causes Insomnia?

What does it mean when i can t sleep even if ive taken pm meds and im always hot? When im home its very hard to sleep and around the time i do its time to get up and start my day. Although when im not home i sleep with no problem but im still very hot. Why?

If the sleeplessness is restricted to only one environment which is home in your case, the cause of this insomnia is most likely psychological and less likely to be physical. Feeling hot could be due to increased core body temperature. This maybe measured using a thermometer and has to be addressed only if it is higher than normal.

You may visit a clinical psychologist to get treatment for the situational insomnia. If you are already on medications for sleeplessness you may also go back for follow up to your doctor.
