What Causes Headaches And Discomfort In The Neck?
I am having discomfort in the neck area and also having headaches. This just started about a week ago. I have problems with arthritis in the vertebrae in my neck on the left side and cannot move my head easily to the left. This is the first time it has affected the glands in the neck. Can the arthritis and sore neck affect the neck area (glands). I have been active all my life and very healthy most of my life (I am 82) and have never experienced this kind of problem before. I know it is difficult to diagnose this condition without seeing me but am concerned about the problem with the glands in the neck. My blood pressure is not great but it is not high. I was also dehydrated and have been drinking more water (I play tennis in Florida 3-4 times a week). Since drinking water other problems have improved except this problem with my neck. ARTHRITIS CAN affect neck joints, and vasculitis and muscles spasm can cause headache, you can take medicine like tizindine to relax muscles, or antiinflammatory medication like piroxicam to treat athritis,
